Homegrown Vegetables

This summer I decided to test out my green thumb and and attempt to grow a few vegetables.  I bought some plants that were already growing. I also planted seeds of corn, watermelon, snap peas, and sunflowers. Hopefully in a few weeks I will have my own little backyard farm growing strong. More to come soon!

Today I am going to talk about a program for your computer called Skype. Using Skype could actually save you a lot of money in phone bills. Skype is a program that allows you to use your computer as a phone. You can call other people on their computers much the way an instant message works, but with voice! Skype is completely FREE unless you want additional features such as being able to call a standard land line phone or voice mail. There are only a few things you will need:

1) A microphone ( I guess if you didn't have this you could still hear others)
2) Speakers/Headphones
3) Windows XP computer (Broadband internet recommended but not required)
